Book Description
Preface

It gives me immense pleasure to present this second book of mine," NEW RULES AND COMB INATIONS IN HINDU ASTROLOGY", to the readers of Astrology. These are the Planetary Combinations which I have come across during my career as an Astrologer. These Combinations generally do not fail and can be successfully applied to the native and other relations of the native also. As such they can be used for checking the correctness of the natal chart as well.

I have tried to incorporate some of the Fundamental Rules of Hindu Astrology also in this book which will be helpful for the reader to have a clear understanding of the Combinations. However, a sincere reader is advised to go through my first book," NEW DIMENSIONS IN HINDU ASTROLOGY”, before taking up the study of NEW RULES AND COMBINATIONS IN HINDU ASTROLOGY", as the same would help in an easy grasp of the principles explained in this work. I have tried to explain the Combinations with the help of different charts applicable to the native as well as other relatives of the native and the reader is also advised to apply these combinations with an open mind. I am sure that a sincere student will realize that Hindu Astrology is based on a purely scientific foundation. Our endeavour should be to keep all kinds of superstitious away from it.

Introduction

In my 35 years’ career of an astrologer, I have experienced that a number of Kundlis or Astrological Charts are not correctly made. There may be several reasons for this lapse, like incorrect time of birth, non-availability of correct Panchang or Ephemery or lethargy of the Astrologer etc. As a result, the pre- dictions made for a native, on the basis of an incorrect Chart or Kundli, will also be misleading. This tarnishes the image of an Astrologer and gives a bad name to the Science of Astrology as a whole. Hence it is not only important to ensure that a horoscope is correctly cast but also to check the horoscope on the basis of past events of the native and his or her relations. After checking the horoscope, an astrologer must also synchronize the chart on the basis of the past events. All the events happening in the life of an individual takes place in a particular combination of planets. Predictions should follow only when the horoscope has been checked and found to be correct and actually belonging to the native.

As such, following formalities need to be completed before giving predictions;

l. Taking or Eliciting correct date, time and place of birth of a native.

2. Casting correct Chart with correct Ephemery or Panchang.

3. Checking of the Horoscope on the basis of planetary combinations with the help of past events of the native.

4. Synchronization of the periods from the past events.

In my first book on Astrology, “NEW DIMENSIONS IN HINDU ASTROLOGY? I have tried to throw light on the above points in brief. The scope of the present work has been limited to the Planetary Combinations. As the reader will be aware that any planetary combination or a specific disposition of a planet or planets in a horoscope, is capable of producing specific results. The problem lies in their correct interpretation and understanding. The author has tried to compile planetary combinations, which he has come across during his practice as an Astrologer. These combinations generally never fail and can be applied to the other relatives of the native also. The principle is that different houses in the horoscope describe attributes of different relatives, like 3rd house belongs to younger brother or sister of the native, so predictions can be made about the younger siblings of the native taking 3rd house of the native as 1st house or Lagna for the younger brothers or sisters, provided the particular planetary combinations exist there. Similarly 4th house of the native may be taken as 1st house for the mother, 7th house as lagna for the wife or husband of the native etc.

It is true that all predictions about different relatives of a native cannot be given only on the basis of the Chart of a native, but simultaneously, it is also true that all birth Charts contain sufficient information about different relations of a native which can establish their proximity and confirm the correctness of the Horoscope. So what is required, is adequate knowledge and correct interpretation of the Chart.

Strength of different planets and houses can also be judged by applying these combinations meticulously. This will benefit the reader in understanding the past events of own life as well as that of other relatives and also judging the future course.

These combinations will be particularly useful in cases where the Ascendent is falling almost in the middle of two signs i.e. if it is at 1 or 2 degree or at 28 or 29 degrees. This slight difference in the positioning of the Ascendent will change the entire horoscope. By applying these Rules or Combinations, correct Ascendent work, a sincere reader is advised to go through certain Fundamental Rules given in the first book of the author, ‘NEW DIMENSIONS IN HINDU ASTROLOGY", in Chapter XH dealing with "Houses, Planets and their Portfolios- Strength of a Planet in a particular Sign" and Chapter XIH dealing with "Important Rules for Making Predictions". These Rules may seem to be deviating from orthodox Astrological Principles, but the Author has successfully applied them in making predictions, and has never found them wanting in any respect. Instead these Rules have provided very logical explanations to certain inexplicable areas of human destiny and have provided a SCIENTIFIC and 8 NEW DIMENSION to HINDU ASTROLOGY For the benefit of the reader, I would give a few of these Fundamental Principles in brief.
