Meditation is a subject of universal interest. It is practiced by spiritual seeker of all traditions, in some from or the other. The time-honoured teachings of meditation, as embodied in the system of yoga, serve as a source of inspiration to seekers all over the world. Among the many traditions of meditation, the traditions of yoga and Vedanta are generally regarded as the two mainstream teachings. While both yoga and Vedanta strive for the same goal, the two systems differ in their approach to that goal.

Unlearning meditation is a book about meditating by learning from one's own experiences, and is not another meditation book filled with exercises, techniques, and ideas on how to live your life. It teaches the meditator a way to look deeply into the meditate process as a way to gain trust in that process and develop independence in one's practice. Meditation appears to them as something that they cannot always do. As more people turn to meditation, the need more simplified instructions so they can practice by themselves without a teacher around.

This book is the result of requests made by many mediators who requested to have written in simple and lucid style. It also gives the reader a common sense, self-determining perspective on meditation and points the way to making it a dynamic factor in each person's life.

The most important feature of this book is that it is beneficial to the beginners s well as to the healers who want to develop their healing skills.
