Description

Foreword:

Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura needs no introduction among the followers of Lord Caitanya. He is known for his inspiring explanations filled with sweet realizations of Krsna. His commentary on the Bhagavad-gita called Sarartha-varsini, "showering the real meaning" likewise reveals a sweetness not found in other commentaries on the Gita. His commentary explains the Gita from the perspective of pure bhakti defined by Srila Rupa Goswami as uttama-bhakti and emphasizes the sweetness and mercy of Krsna above all else. This gives it a distinction among the various commentaries on the Gita. At the same time, it is a reasonable and simple explanation of the text, supporting itself with ample proof from the Srimad-bhagavatam. Thus it is accessible to the majority of readers. I hope the readers will find that the commentaries are easy to understand and that it will increase their taste for Krsna and their practice of bhakti.

Our Nandi sculpture arrived today and it surpasses all expectations - it is wonderful. We are not only pleasantly surprised by the speed of international delivery but also are extremely grateful for the care of your packaging. Our sculpture needed to travel to an off-lying island of New Zealand but it arrived safely because of how well it had been packaged. Based upon my experience of all aspects of your service, I have no hesitation in recommending Exotic India.
