Dada J.P. Vaswani started out as brilliant student who obtained his B.Sc. Degree at the young age of 17. He was awarded a fellowship at the D.J Sind College for standing first in his class. He gave up a career in academics, to follow the footsteps of his illustrious uncle and Guru, Sadhu T.L Vaswani: In order to propagate his master's ideals, he edited three monthly journals: Excelsior, India Digest and East and West series. Another task given to Dadaji by his master was to serve as the Principal of St. Mira's College for Girls. Teachers and students dearly loved him. In 1966, when Sadhu T.L Vaswani shed his physical body, he passed on the baton to Dada J.P Vaswani.

Dadaji is the author of over 50 books in English and many more in Sindhi; His writings reveal practical tips on happy, successful, spiritual and non-violent living. Many of his books have run into several editions. And many have been translated into the Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, French, German and Indonesian languages. Dadaji has addressed distinguished audiences through eminent forums like the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago, the World Hindu Conference in Colombo, the Global Forum of Spiritual Leaders and Parliamentarians at Kyoto, the United Nations Millennium World Peace Summit and the House of Commons in London.

Dadaji is an avid propagator of vegetarianism. Animal lovers revere and admire him as an apostle of non- violence who strives tirelessly for the cause of reverence for all life. God on Earth? Not many are fortunate to come face to face with God. But when one is fortunate enough to be graced by a Guru who is God-like, then you meet God on Earth.

I consider it to be a big blessing that I found my Guru Dada J. P. Vaswani, nearly 20 years ago. He is a spiritual leader, a philosopher, an author, a motivator and a speaker. He is also the spiritual head of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission in Pune. But to me, he is truly my God on Earth.

In his presence, I get goose bumps as if I were meeting God. His words are sweeter than honey and his touch more loving than anything else is in this world. He is not only my Guru but also my father, mother, brother and friend. All these years, he has moulded me to become a better human being. My faith in Lord Shiva was born before I met him, but after meeting him, my faith in God has multiplied in several folds. I look upon him as God sent blessing; as the spirit of God in human form and thus revere him as my God on Earth. He has bestowed his love and wisdom upon me, which has transformed me into a better person for which I am very grateful. He has also taught me to be humble and not proud and if I could just be one millionth as humble as he is, it would be a great achievement.
