About the CD

Music is both a language as well as expression of the soul. His Holiness Sri Ganapati Sachidananda Swamiji, who is well known the world over for His Meditation and Healing Music, has cast yet another musical melody in this album, which is unique for it’s healing and meditative effects.

The free flowing music in this album symbolizes a ‘call’ given to the outgoing mind to dive into the depts. Of the ‘Self’ within and be restful in the abode. The melody is very gently addressed to the turbulent and agitated mind, as if it is telling “O Mani! So long as you are passionately involved in the externalities of the world, there won’t be any hope for real peace and happiness. The foundation for real peace and happiness lies within your own heart. Therefore, Address all your feelings and emotions to that “inner power”, which causes, sustains and dissolves all that occur at the outer plane. Contemplating and meditating on that “Inner Self” alone will redeem you.

The speciality of the music in this album is that it is there “itself” without any accompaniment by way of support , which again, is a pointer to the spiritual truth that the life’s journey is to be walked all alone....therefore, it is high time that we learn the art of being alone – with our “Inner Self”

The music in this album was recorded live in Malibu, USA on 24th July 2000, when His Holiness Sri Swamiji was sitting meditatively on the shores of the Pacific Ocean and mother Nature had caused a rare configuration of the 3’S’, Sagara (Ocean), Sangeeta (Music) and Swamiji.

His Holiness The Dalai lama released this album on 23rd December 2000, on the auspicious occasion of the inauguration of the “Sapta Swara Davata Mantapa” in the Nada Mantapa auditorium in Mysore Ashrama.
