Wearing a tall crown, and lavishly adorned with sumptuous jewels, Goddess Saraswati is seated here in the Raja-lila-asana, or the posture of royal ease. Her eyes, closed under multiple layers of brows, suggest that she is lost in the reveries of the rhythms she is melodiously playing on her vina. Under her well-endowed form is a lotus in full-bloom, signifying the blossoming of her own youth.

Goddess Saraswati is always referred to as extremely beautiful, fair complexioned, four-armed, ever youthful and gracious looking. Attributes which the skilled sculptor has definitely rendered with dexterity here. Each of the four hands hold a typical implement, expressing the Goddess's symbolic significance:

In her upper right hand she holds a rosary, associating her with the chanting of the divine name.

The upper right arm supports a book, signifying that she is the Goddess of learning and wisdom.

The remaining two hands play upon her vina, firmly establishing her as the patron deity of all arts.

Delivered by to all international destinations within 3 to 5 days, fully insured.
