The body of the sari is in a combination of light and dark brown that becomes prominent in the light. The body is plain with a wide border woven in golden color contrasting threads. On the border are large beautiful flowers among a continuous running creeper. This creeper is ensconced within carved geometrical lines.
The pallav is truly rich and exquisite with large ornately carved mango leaves within wonderfully carved arches that are so reminiscent of Indian architecture. Below the carvings are patterns of Kalash which is the ritual pot used for every ritual occasion in India. The kalash adds a ritual significance to the sari.
