This is a very fancy sari in tussar, that is also a variety of silk but is rather coarse. The body is a combination of magenta and white done in the tie and dye technique. This technique is the traditional dyeing pattern followed in Rajasthan where the cloth is tied and then dyed with the required color, leaving the tied area white. The body has printed motifs of women all over depicting them in various roles as a mother and a wife waiting for the husband. Also there are elephants and parrots on the sari.

The border is very colorful and a mixture of purple, yellow and red colors. The border depicts women dancing in the garden. The pallav is also very colorfully set against a purple background and the women depicted are rural women in the garden and carrying pitchers on their head.

The sari evokes very different emotions.
