Woolen salwar kameeez are worn by the women of Kashmir primarily to beat the cold in the valley. Today the traditional woolen salwar kameez has spread to different parts of the world. The wool used is light and woven beautifully by the craftsmen of Kashmir.
This salwar kameez is in deep maroon color has floral and mango leaf embroidery on the end of the kameez. There is also embroidery on the hands. The salwar is plain maroon color. The dupatta is as good as a shawl with embroidery on it, and can be used on other costumes also.
