This sari was woven in Banaras. The color is a beautiful bridal red. The body of the sari is plain with a carved border of flowers and creeper patterns woven very intricately in golden and white colored threads that give the zari look.. The pallav is truly rich with carved arches which have flowers woven inside them.
Around these arch motifs there are closely woven flowers, which are in the shape of stars. On either ends of the pallav are ornately carved mango leaf patterns. A blouse with the weave of the same star-shaped flowers accompanies the sari.
This sari can be worn on a traditional occasion as well as for parties.
