This chiffon sari comes in a beautiful sky blue color. The body is plain but the pallav and the border are exquisitely woven. They are woven in biscuit color threads. The border has beautifully carved arches amidst entwined creepers.
The Pallav is very rich with carved window motifs, that are commonly found on Mughal architecture in India. Brocade work essentially involves intricate leaf and floral pattern, that are closely woven making the sari very rich. Brocades form the traditional courtly and wedding textiles of India.
The sari also has an attached blouse piece, that is also richly woven with flowers and creepers.
