Bheeshma (Comic Book)
Description
About The Book

Bheeshma, born as Devavarata to King Shantanu and River Goddess, Ganga, came to be known as Bheeshma after his supreme oath of celibacy. In the great epic, The Mahabharata, he always took the Kauravas side as part of his oath, though he wished good for the Pandavas.

This title, on the great warrior of The Mahabharata, narrates the story of this eighth Vasu, (Celestial being), who was cursed to be born as a human and also tells us how this central character in the Mahabharata tried to prevent the Mahabharata War, but finally fought for the Kauravas.

This is part of the spectacular WILCO PICTURE LIBRARY (WPL), slated to be a 500 plus titles series, pioneering the innovative way of enlightening on various subjects in a fun-filled way via a comic format artwork, full of colourful illustrations along with simple but interesting narration and dialogues, thereby making story-telling an enjoyable experience.

Testimonials
Thank you very much. Your sale prices are wonderful.
Michael, USA
Kailash Raj’s art, as always, is marvelous. We are so grateful to you for allowing your team to do these special canvases for us. Rarely do we see this caliber of art in modern times. Kailash Ji has taken the Swaminaryan monks’ suggestions to heart and executed each one with accuracy and a spiritual touch.
