Preface

Every living being on the earth has to face complicated and complex matrix of surrounding forces. All the human beings require optimum basic elements such as pressure, temperature, water, air, light, and magnetic force. Any deviation in optimal range of parameter cause harm to human body. Human body contains about 60% water by weight. Water is a universal solvent and very easily affected by any change in outside atmosphere. Human body also contains 35-50 mg./kg body weight iron which is affected by magnetic gravity and magnetic field.

Earth is one of the planets in solar system. There are millions of such solar systems in the universe. The earth moves around its axis and around the Sun with a particular speed. All other planets such as the Mercury, the Venus, the Mars, the Jupiter and the Saturn move in a specific speed relatively to the earth. The Moon a satellite of earth moves with a specific speed. Hence, all the revolving heavenly bodies in the universe apply gravitational, centrifugal and centripetal forces. I consider Rahu and Ketu as pseudo-stars and are north and south poles of a great magnet in the earth and create a powerful magnetic field on the living beings on the earth.

There are millions of stars hanging in the sky. But only 121 stars form 27 groups known as Nakshatra which send radiations to the earth are affecting the human beings. The Sun and the Moon are basically essential for all the living beings on the land and water of the earth. The production of primary food in plants is produced by the process of photosynthesis in the presence of the Sunlight. The Sunlight and heat are main natural sources of vitamin D and E. Likewise, the Moon, the nearest planet to the earth sends the great attraction force on earth and make the tidal situation in water and sea. The earth contains more than 2/3 area as sea and ocean. Millions of organisms live in water. The tidal action in the seas rejuvenate the minerals and food for aquatic organisms. Thus the Sun and the Moon are very important planets for life on the earth both on land and water.

There are various systems of astrology study i.e. Western system, based on the relative movement of the Sun and Indian system based on the movement of the Moon. There are three different types of charts in the Indian system of astrology i. e. North Indian Style, South Indian Style and East Indian Style. The basic principles of Rishi Parashar and Vimshottari dasa are found easy to understand and accurate for the reading of horoscope which has been mentioned in Chapter 1.

In ancient times, the Predictive Astrology was based on the position of Nakshatras (constellation) which are 27 in numbers and contain 121 stars. Each Nakshatra is divided into 4 parts known as charans. The Lord of different Nakshatra is different. The detailed effect of each Nakshatra on the has been described in Chapter 2. As per Rishi Parashar, there are various types of charts, vargas and each for a particular or individual activity. All the different 16 charts have been described in Chapter 3.

The horoscope chart has been divided in 12 parts known as houses. Each house is house meant for a particular function. The function of each house is described in Chapter 4. Each rashi or Zodiac sign in the horoscope has its nature and function in the horoscope. The details has been given in the Chapter 5.

In the Horoscope, the placement of different planets in different houser. in different Zodiac signs with different degrees are very important tools in prediction. The cumulative effect of all these factors have been given in Chapter 6 to 14.

The combination of planets in one house is very important for correct prediction. The brief description of combination of 3 planets, 4 planets, 5 planets, 6 planets and 7 planets have been given in chapter 15. In addition to effect of planets on human beings, the natural calamities, agriculture production, market trends, Government policies, climatic conditions etc. affect the human life and has been described in Mundane Astrology in Chapter 16.

There are various types of dashas of each planet. It is found that Vimshottari dasha which is based on the Nakshatra, is better to understand and give accurate result. The effect of dashas like Mahadashas, Antardashas, and Pratyarantar dasa have been described in chapter 17. The adoption of systematic procedure for the horoscope is very important to get accurate results. Sometimes references are also needed to evaluate the horoscopes. This has been described in Chapter 18.

This book has been divided into 18 chapters like 18 adhyayas of Holy Gita. This book has been written on principles of astrology propounded by Rishi Parashar which I found are more accurate and easy as compared to other systems. I have not given the methods for preparing the horoscope manually, only to save the time of reader. If anyone intends to study he may consult any relevant book or can take help of any software available in the market. This work is purely on Predictive Astrology. The remedial measures of the ill effect of Planets have not been given, because there are various types of remedies which mainly depend on the faith and religion of native. You can consult any good astrologer nearby or can consult the author at the address given below for the remedies.

I hope that this book on Compendium of Astrology would be very useful for practising astrologer and students.
