PROCESS OF WORSHIPPING
Have a bath before sunrise and wear clean clothes; keep the image or picture of Devi Durga in front of yourself. You can also keep the Yantra given in this book after engraving it on a copper plate. Worship Devi Durga with vermilion, kunkum, whole red flower (rose), incense sticks and lamp, and offer porridge, gram or raw milk and sweets according to your capacity. Taking flower in hand, utter the couplet given below:
After this, offer the flowers and read the Chalisa. After reading the Chalisa, repeat ...Om Hring Dung Durgaei Namah mantra 108 times with a string of beads of tulsi or white sandalwood.
