Garuda is one of the three principle deities in Hindu Mythology; the other two being Ganesha, the elephant-headed God and Hanuman, the monkey God. The mount of Lord Vishnu, Garuda is always worshipped together with Vishnu.

This interesting title on Garuda narrates the life story of this God with beautiful illustrations combined with simple dialogues and narration. This book tells you how not only did Garuda bring Amrita, the elixir of life, from heaven of the release of his mother, but also helped Indra, the King of Gods retrieve it before the snakes could drink it and become immortal.
