Jahangir
Jahangir
Description
About The Book

Jahangir, also known as Salim, succeeded Akbar the Great and consolidated the Mughal Empire. Like his father, Jahangir loved fine arts and encouraged the growth of poetry, art, dance, music, etc. Since Akbar's reign lasted for a fairly long period, Jahangir, out of anxiety of acquiring the throne, rebelled against his father.

This book brings you the exciting story of his life with interesting details narrated with excellent illustrations and also includes details about his famous 'Chain of Justice' Which was hanging from a bell at his palace. Anyone seeking justice could ring the bell and would be granted and appearance before the Emperor.

This is part of the spectacular WILCO PICTURE LIBRARY (WPL), slated to be a 500 plus titles series, pioneering the innovative way of enlightening on various subjects in a fun-filled way via a comic format artwork, full of colourful illustrations along with simple but interesting narration and dialogues, thereby making story-telling an enjoyable experience.
