Life and Its Meaning: An Analysis
Life and Its Meaning: An Analysis
Description
Aboutn The Book

This book is an analysis of spiritual problems in the light of modern science, presented in a simple and concise manner. The author makes an attempt to state the truth as he sees it without ruffling his fathers.

About the Author

Shri K. P. Menon was born in 1937, at Edavanakad, a village near Cochin, Kerala. After graduation in Mechanical Engineering he had undergone training in Nuclear Sciences at Atomic Energy Training School, Mumbai and later in ship-building at Glasgow, U.K. He has worked in various capacities at A.E.E.T. (now called Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, TROMBAY), Larsen & Toubro, Powai and Cohin Shipyard, Cochin. He is now living at ‘AJANTHA’, K. P. Vallon Road, Kadavanthra, Cochin - 682020.

Preface

The usual questions about life and world that arises in every thinking mind have been troubling me too for many years. My struggle to solve them has led me to certain findings and conclusions. To clarify my own thoughts I put them in words. They are presented in the following pages with the hope that they will be of some help to those who are also searching for answers to the eternal questions.

This is an analysis of spiritual problems in the light of modern science. I have avoided the jargons of both disciplines and tried to present things in as simple and as concussed a manner as possible. What is attempted is to state the truth as I see it. It is not intended to criticize any faith or hurt anybody.

I respectfully thank their Holiness Swami Jitatmanandaji of Ramakrishna Mission, Rajkot and Swami Atmachaitanyaji of Chimayo Mission, Vernacular for going through the manuscript and offering their critical comments and valuable suggestions.

I am also thankful to Padma Bhushan S. Ramakrishnan of Bharatiya Vidya J3havan, Mumbai for publishing this book.

Namaste, This painting was delivered a little while ago. The entire package was soaking wet inside and out. But because of the extra special care you took to protect it, the painting itself is not damaged. It is beautiful, and I am very happy to have it. But all is well now, and I am relieved. Thank you!
Janice, USA
I am writing to convey my gratitude in the service that you have provided me. We received the painting of the 10 gurus by Anup Gomay on the 2nd January 2019 and the painting was packaged very well. I am happy to say that the recipient of the gift was very very happy! The painting is truly stunning and spectacular in real life! Thank you once again for all your help that you provided.
