Description
About the Book
Maharana Pratap, the rebel king of Mewar, has inspired rulers and common people alike ever since he fought against the Mughal emperor Akbar over half a millennium ago. In the villages of Rajasthan, there are hardy old weather-beaten men whose eyes li11 with tears at the thought of the difficulties faced Maharana Pratap, their indomitable hero, in challenging the most powerful emperor of the time.

In the early thirties of the last century, the revolutionary Surya Sen invoked the name of this legendary warrior to rouse his followers against the British colonialists during the siege of the Chittagong armoury. Even today, people continue to admire and respect this great king. This book pays homage to his strength, courage and leadership.
