In the history of world religion, distinguished and venerable personalities have brought about thoughtful revolution. Among them the name of Prophet Jesus, is placed on a high pedestal. Twenty centuries have passed since his crucifixion and resurrection but his life and gospels are a source of great light and enlightenment. It has not only been acknowledged by the Christian fraternity and knowledgeable ones but also by the followers of other religions paying tribute to him have exhorted the people of this world to learn and follow lessons of endurance -and steadfastness. The brief poetic presentation "Moraqqa-e-Massih" is also a paramount extension of that tradition under a new title with a novel view, in which the magic of painting, the culmination of Urdu poetry, the spell of poetic translation of Hindi and English are combined together in such a way that 'Shaairi' (Poetry) has become 'Kavita' and Kavita (Hindi Poetry) transformed into English translation as an inflammable ball of fire to appear on the firmament of civilization like a rainbow in which the different colours of the life Jesus are discernible.,

World religions have always played a huge role in the uplift of humankind. Whether it was the word of the Buddha, verses of the Bhagawad Geeta, The Holy Bible or The Holy Qoran each has provided the world with a message of compassion and love for ones fellow human being, Sulaiman Asif in the Prism of Jesus has given a new perspective of this understanding bringing out the best of a multi-cultured society and that too in an exquisite verse form that has been presented in three languages that reflect the feeling of the ordinary man worldwide. Be it Lord Buddha, Mahavir Jain, Jesus Christ or the Prophet Muhammed each in his own time proved to be a revolutionary in the true sense and each in his own way brought a new order and vision to society that cross all boundaries of culture, class and creed. Sulaiman Asif too in his own way has managed to cross the divide of time, culture and generation to show us a new way to form our thoughts.
