Preface

The life sketch of Sadguru Thyagaraja in the music world is a unique one. Many great personalities are shining like the Dhuva Star. My humble pranaams to everyone.

Sadgurus like Sangeetha Pithamaha Purandaradaasa, Padakavita Pitamaha Taallapaka Annamayya, Swamy Haridas, Meerabai, Kabirdas, Jagannath Pandit, Narayana Teertha, Bhadrachala Ramadas, Shyama Shastri, Muttjuswamy Dixitar, Oothukkadu Venkata Music. They enjoyed the bliss of Music and have conversed with Parabhrahmam. Thyagaraja is a Gem of TeluguNadu and Dravida Desam who set aside the kings and surrendered to SriRama. Recitaation of the Life History of Thyagabrahmam is equivalent to TarakaMantram.

On Thursday. 10th May 2012, in the early hours my Sangeetha Vidya Guru Gaanakaladhara Belakavdi Varadaraja lyyengar and Sri Viday Deeksha Guru A. Rajamani gave darshan in my dream. Filled with ecstasy I bowed to them with Sasshttanga Namaskaram SriVidya Guru A. Rajamani instructed me, “ Subramanyam your work has been over. Come and join us “, he uttered. But my Sangeetha Vidya Guru Belakavadi Varadaaraja lyyengar looking to me with a smile said, “What you are saying? His service to the Music World is not yet completed. Now I am giving him an important project and he should complete it successfully. only then he should join us”. Looking to me he said “Suvramanya! The project should be completed with Grand Success”. Saying these words they slowly vanished. The words of my Guru are equal to Veda. But I couldn’t understand ablut this important project. Somehow I was puzzled!

On 30tt May 2012, Sri Balasubramanyam from Chennai along with Sri DVN. Sharma called on me and requested me that “DakshinaKaali Aavarna Krithis” should be written according to the order of HariHara Aashrama Peetaaadhpathi. I studied the sacred book on bhadrakaliin 6 months which was sent by them. By the Grace of Devi, I wrote the Aavarana krithis and submitted the same to the Yogeeshwara of Nerrur HariHara Aashramam.

On 16th May 2013, at Chinna Thiruvayyar in the Sannidhi of Sri Sri Sri Nadabrahmananda Thyagaraja Swamy, Seetha Ramachandra swamy kalyanam was performed in connection with 246th Birthday (Jayanti) of Sadguru Thyagaraja, With utter Bhakti Bhaava. after completion of Kalyana Mahotsavam, within a short whil, Sri M.V. Ramana Moorthy and Ravi Sharma, Editor of Naatakakala called on me and narrated ablut the progress of a film on Thyagaraja and invited me to the function of recording on the same day at 8:00 PM. Two dates were fixed for the discussion about the film.

On the second date, Myself, Brahmanada Sastry of Tenali, Ramana Moorthy and Ravi Shrama discussed ablut the film. Finally I suggested to them that the theme of the film should not be changed and the originality of the story should be of high order and it should maintain the high should not be entertained. The story should be of a high order and it should maintain the high values of Sadguru Thyagaraja.

The above incidents were leading me to realize the vision that my Gurus’ gave me. I had to give the world a dedicated Charitram of the great Nadopasaka Sreshta Sri Sri Sri.

Nada Brahmananda Thyagaraja Swamy, with a felicity of expression that would help every bhaktha to feel blessed while reading in all the languages.
