Dr. C. Lalitha Rani, the author of the present golden jubilee volume “A Study of Srivenkatacalamahatmyam with Special Reference to Varaha and Bhavisyottara-puranas” is disciple of late Prof. S.B. Raghunathacharya former Vice chancellor R.S. Vidyapeetha, Tirupati and did pioneering work on the prominence of Venkatacala and lord Srinivasa
