Born in Indian, started his spiritual search when he was 24, after finishing his Law studies and a master in Economics.

After some time of retreat in the Himalayas he entered in contract with the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. Since then, he dedicated to the integral Yoga and created Aurovalley Ashram, a place located in the North of India, where people from all over the world come for their spiritual practices. Swamiji travels to different countries sharing His experiences through workshop and conferences. These question and answers were gathered from workshops in 1999.

Introduction

This book is a transcription of different workshops, talks, satsangs, and questions and answers sessions with Swami Brahmdev regarding life and the spiritual journey. The text keeps the familiar and simple tone that characterizes Swamiji.

Swami Brahmdev, a practitioner of the integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, lives in Indian in Aurovalley Ashram Rishidwar, an ashram created by himself for his sadhana and the sadhana of those who are interested in doing inner work and in the growth and the transformation of consciousness for the establishment and manifestation of the Divine Life on earth.

In the path of integral Yoga, it is important to have a clear understanding of the different parts of the being: the mental, the vital, the physical and the psychic.
