Description
Preface

It is my great privilege and pleasure to undertake the work of writing the Book "Acharya's Ayurvedeeya padartha vigyan". It is by the grace of God Dhanwantari, Manjunatheshwara and my parents, the publication completed uninterruptedly.

Padartha vigyan is a known subject of Ancient Ayurvedic philosophical background associated with the sciences like Darshana, pramana, Tarka, Tantra, Srusti, utpatti etc. This subject is taught to first professional BAMS students who had base of convent education hence became unpalatable to them.

This publication is aimed to present the subject in a simple way like a guide for the better understanding and the success of my work fully depends upon its utility to many a student. I believe that it will become a hand book for the students of Ayurveda.

I express my sincere gratitude to H. H. Veerendra Heggadeji the president and the respected members of the S.D.M. Educational trust for their kindness in providing me the best opportunity to serve in their esteemed medical institution.

I offer my sincere thanks to our beloved principal Dr. Prasanna N. Rao, for his continuous support and co operation to bring out the publication.

I whole-heartedly thankful to the senior dignitaries of our institution Prof. C.H.S. Shastry, Prof. Gurudeep Singh for their invaluable suggestions and blessings.

I also wish to record my unfailing thanks to the Professors, readers, lecturers, post- graduates, graduates, non teaching staff and Para medical staff of our institution.

I sincerely thank the teaching staff and P. G. Students of my department Prof. M.V. Subramanyam, Dr. Shamsa Fiaz, Dr. Ashwini M.J., Dr. Sreenivas Kotbal, Dr. Dheeraj, Dr. Amarnath H K, Dr. Rohith, Dr. Naganur, Dr. Hari Prasad, Dr. Geeta Kumari Dr. Ambili, Dr. Veeraiah, Dr. Abhijith, Dr. Mayur, Dr. Girish, Dr. Sreelatha, Dr. Shillendra, Dr. Roopa, Dr. Sapna, Dr. Pushpa and Dr. Hadimani for their support.

Last but not least I thank Manjusree printers and all others who helped me completing the work as desired.

Kailash Raj’s art, as always, is marvelous. We are so grateful to you for allowing your team to do these special canvases for us. Rarely do we see this caliber of art in modern times. Kailash Ji has taken the Swaminaryan monks’ suggestions to heart and executed each one with accuracy and a spiritual touch.
