WHO IS WHO IN THE HOLY QUR'AN (Quranic Names and Symbols)
WHO IS WHO IN THE HOLY QUR'AN (Quranic Names and Symbols)
Description
About the Book

The book has been complied referring the names and symbols of the prophets, who have conveyed Allah's Divine message as mentioned in the Holy Quran. The author Muhammad Saeed Siddiqi has complied them in chronological order mentioning the past events and stories.

PREFACE

The Holy Quran is a rich treasure of comprehensive information of the by-gone past and the present. It touches all the socio-economic aspects of society, also discusses the maxims of religious beliefs beside digging the past events, stories, narrations and names of hundreds and thousand of prophets, sent by Almighty Allah to convey His Divine Message.

The latest is the best and same is applicable to the Holy Quran which stands latest in the Queue of all previous holy books, sent on various prophets on various times.

The Holy Quran is a book of medium size, divided into 30 equal parts and contains 114 Surahs.

The names of prophets are scattered all over the pages of Holy Quran, and to bring them in closely-knit order, was a challenging job. But the author of this book, Mr. Mohammad saeed Siddiqi has successfully dealt with this back-bone breaking venture. The way in which the author has complied this chronology, is commendable. It has well resisted the evaporation of the aims of the author.

The Holy Quran not only discusses the principles of religious beliefs, but also it reveals past events, and discloses the names of Allah's messengers, who were ordained to come to this planet to guide the mankind on the right path. Mr. Mohammad Saeed Siddiqi's book "A Comprehensive study of Who is Who in the Holy Quran" is an impressive, informative, interesting and unique piece of work, in the area dealing with the names of Allah's Prophets, mentioned in the various Surahs of the Holy Quran.

The commendable and analytical approach of the author, compounded with plenty of tough figure work, indicates the hard work the author has to bear. Having enjoyed reading this book, I am sure, that Mr. Siddiqi's labour and resourcefulness will not go unrewarded. His sincere, personal efforts, supplemented by Alimighty Allah's guidance, have helped him to producesuch a novel work that may help Islam-thirsty people to quench their thirst.

I pray to Almighty Allah that this beautiful attempt of Mr. Siddiqi may open new vistas for him, which I visualize soon.
