Book Description
Preface

In 1990 A.D. while I was at Purushottam Kshetra (Puri) during Sri Jagannath's Car Festival Just previous night of Gundicha-marjan day my mind became deeply thoughtful pondering over the significance of Sree Jagannath's journey to Sundarachala (Gundicha) on the chariot and why Sri chaitanya Mahaprabhu was so fascinated of cleanse Gundicha Temple with His Own Hands along with His intimate followers and His jubilation in performing 'Uddandanritya kirtan' in front of the moving Car, while lacks of people were witnessing. Waves after waves of thoughts began to pass through my mind and in due course giving vent on that i wrote an article under the caption, "The Ontological Aspect of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's Descent. 'Next while during Janmashtami I was in Madras at night in a dream my Sri Curudev behested me so saying, "No doubt you have written many books in English with critical review which I appreciate, but more I am pleased of your findings about the Ontological Aspect of the Descent of Srila Prabhpad's blessings that worked through you. You should write a full-fledged book in English on Lord Sri Chaitanya taking into consideration Charitamrita of immortal author, Sri Krishna Das Kaviraj Goswami."

I was supposed not to disclose this spiritual vision. But ultimately I found I must do so, because while I gave the book to the press, from some quarters I could hear a whispering that I was after the name and fame, so I get my book printed. I know that a humble Sanyasi like me if really runs after the name and fame is a worst degradation like consorting with woman that of most abominable character as it is said by Sri Raghunath Das Goswami, 'Swapacharamani'. Anyhow it gave me a very good chance to make through self-introspection whether really in the name of 'krishnendriya-priti-vancha' am I after 'atmendriya-priti-vancha? What good disposition have I? Neither have I any literal qualification nor any philosophical outlook. I know my Guru Maharaj's life was so mysterious that he managed such a great Mission taking as instruments some ones who were insignificants in all respects. I was such a most unworthy one who was like a doll danced by pulling the string from behind by him; we find his grace made 'Mukam karoti vachalam, pangum langhayate girim' therefore I leave it to him to judge whether I am after the name and fame or just I do under his behest for his pleasure alone. When I have come as a mind to give a dance performance on the stage I cannot put cloth to cover my face seeing the audience or at their remarks.

Whenever I took any work my two God-brothers, Sripad B.P.Sadhu Maharaj and Sripad Nityananda Brahmachari gave me full liberty and encouragement. It is due to their enthusiastic and repeated requests and giving-enocouragement I could manage somehow to leave my responsible executive works for the Mission which they labouriously shouldered and spend much of my time for literary works. The present project which is a research work and a critical review of very many great philosophers' writings. I had to widely read many books but that time to my help came Sri B.P. Janardan Maharaj who could take notes of my dictations.

Today Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is not only a God-Incarnation of founder of a particular religious Sampradaya under the name of Gaudiya Vaishnava within the fold of 'Sanatan Dharma' which in vogue is known as Hindu Dharma, He is now universally recognised and observed by respective people from their respectivestand point of view or angle of vision;----some say, He is a Great Reformer, others say a great political leader who for the first time showed to the world the non-violence movement against the onslaught of ruling – head of the State, still others consider that He worked for the down-troddens and showed the path to them for taking thesociety, or he was a Preacher or a great devotee, or Inspirer of very many scholars who produced, a vast literature including poetry, rhetoric, so on and so forth.

As the history alone can make us to know the past, so at present we know lord Sri Chaitanya from innumerable writings of the time and also thereafter upto the present. In the religious world there is a great draw back that unauthorised people also poke their nose where, as the proverb goes, 'Where angels fear but devils dare to trespass.' So more interpolations in the writings of the genuine works, or hypothetical writings under the nickname of some glorious writers are noticed.

Therefore at present when secular education is advancing, side by side in the Universities Departments of Philosophy and Religion are established. There, the Professors for their professional purpose carry out research works without having any spiritual insight and divine intuition. They naturally depend upon all sorts of writings on the subject and they distort the entire subject and there is no exception in the case of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. As the proverb goes, 'the swans alone can take out the substance portion of the milk leaving aside the water potion.' So also it is only Paramahamsas, exalted unalloyed devotees who imbibed 'Intuitive Wisdom' (Sanvit) and having full-realisation of the Supreme Divinity, alone can produce the unalloyed morphology leaving the pseudostic interpolation or blasphemous writings.
