Mizoram is a State of great natural beauty. The author, Dr. Animesh Ray (1936-98) studied in Presidency College, Calcutta, Calcutta University Law College and London School of Economics, London. He was chief Secretary, Government of Tripura and Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, besides holding other important positions in public sector organization.
