Foreword

Life is the greatest blessing of God. This human life is the most valuable gift to us from God. Life is very precious; you do an insult to it if you live it for sordid ends. It is a humiliation of life if you squander it over trivial pursuits and waste your precious time in profligacy and pleasure-seeking. Life is eternal, so are our powers, and we possess immense-talents. We are able to utilize only about 5% of our physical, mental, social and spiritual powers. Most of our powers remain dormant. If we make full use of our potential, an ordinary person can become a great man, a superman, an, apostle. Universal consciousness starts permeating our human consciousness, and the world is deluded into worshipping a human being as God. All the divine and supernatural powers and accomplishments with which Yogeshwar Shri Krishna, Maryada Purushottam Shri Rama, Mahayogi Shiva, Mahavir Swami, Guru Nanak Dev, Guru Gobind Singh, Maharshi Dayanand and Swami Vivekanand were gifted, lie within us also in a latent form. A yogi should never think of himself as wretched, miserable, helpless and forlorn. Every moment he should think of himself "aham brahmasmi;" I am colossal. I am the representative of God. I am born on this earth to fulfill a great mission. I am gifted with the patience of Earth, the radiance of Fire, the speed of Wind, the coolness of Water, and the vastness of Space.

I have got the brain of a Brahmana with its celestial radiance, brilliance, intellect and discriminative wisdom. I have got the arms of a Ksatriya full of strength, valour, courage and confidence. I have got the stomach of a Vaisya possessing the skills for managing business. I consider myself fortunate in serving the society as a Sudra. I am not an individual; I am a culture. I am the bearer of a racial tradition and a perennial culture. Bharat is from me; and I am from Bharat. I am the immortal child of Mother Bharati: "mata bhumih putro' ham prthivyah:" I am not land, building, office, power, beauty or youth; I am not the mortal body. I am the ageless, immortal, imperishable, radiant and luminous Soul.

My manifestation or my religion is love, compassion, peace and affection. My deeds are my religion. I am not merely a worshipper of stone idols, but I see my God existing in the souls of those statue-like creatures who have been created by my God. I am the worshipper of the sentient, morphic Brahman. I cannot be bowed down by any temptations; obstacles cannot obstruct the path of my life; and the slandering tongues cannot deflect me from my goal. I will enrich my life by surrendering everything in my possession, as ordained by my preceptor and scriptures. I will not allow any hindrance to the flow of merit into my life. Each moment of my life will be replete with love, compassion, courage, valour, energy and self-confidence. My external and internal life will all along be full of purity. In my life the national interests will dominate all other interests; this tenet will be my ideal. First and foremost, I am the son of Mother Bharati, then secondarily I may be a samnyasi, a householder, a leader, an actor, an employee, an officer, a businessman. Where would I have been if the country were not there? My nation is everything to me. This life is meant for the country "idam rastraya idanna mama". This life is dedicated to God. This is the goal of my life. My nationalism takes precedence over my political creed or my samnyasi dharma. The honour of my country is an honour to me, and I feel dishonoured if my country is dishonoured. I will not let the glory, pride and honour of my country be sullied. I will sacrifice my all to make Bharat a super power of the world. I will redeem the lost glory of my country.

Let us then step forward to sacrifice our all for this holy mission of nationalism and national awakening so that his sacred pledge is redeemed!

Let us all unite to make a new Bharat.
