About the Book

Mansarovar, the enchanted, ethereal lake, may figure on many a bucket list. But going there on bicycles ...? It was a wild idea, meticulously planned, that went 'flat' from day one! In this engaging travelogue chronicled by a chatty bicycle, nine cycles are ridden, helter-skelter to this amazing destination, supported ably by a junk-food gobbling, gossiping and giggling bunch of five.

The storyteller cycle revels in the beauty of the land that is Tibet, imbibes the elements of nature right up to the parikrama of Mount Kailash, soaks up the enthralling history of the place, and sponges in the geography to present a sometimes philosophical, but mostly graphical, tickled and peppy account of the trip.

The view and narrative from the surface of the winding, windy, dusty, sunny Tibet roads, climbing inexorably to high mountain passes, and plunging into Shangri-La valleys, will roll you into another world. Here cultures clash, temperatures plummet, comforts shrivel, friendships blossom, and spirits acquire wings.

Come savour the 'high life' to Lord Shiva's abode, on wheels!

This is to inform you that the shipment of my order has arrived in perfect condition. The actual shipment took only less than two weeks, which is quite good seen the circumstances. I waited with my response until now since the Buddha statue was a present that I handed over just recently. The Medicine Buddha was meant for a lady who is active in the healing business and the statue was just the right thing for her. I downloaded the respective mantras and chants so that she can work with the benefits of the spiritual meanings of the statue and the mantras. She is really delighted and immediately fell in love with the beautiful statue. I am most grateful to you for having provided this wonderful work of art. We both have a strong relationship with Buddhism and know to appreciate the valuable spiritual power of this way of thinking. So thank you very much again and I am sure that I will come back again.
