Now in all over the world this is a important subject of study, which actually in India also before some decades but now in India there are now no researchers or writers available for writing on this topic. In this book elaborated upon the topics like meaning and importance of manuscriptology, objective outlook of editing and research, and contribution of scribes and preserves of the treasure of manuscripts Literary works in India have traditionally been written down on various materials such as palm leaf, birch bark and paper. In South India books- that is to say manuscripts consisting of bundled leaves (Sanskrit: Pustaka)- have been mainly made from palm leaf; that is, leaves either from the Talipot or from the Palmyra. There are various aspects involved in dealing with manuscripts and most of them were discussed when several experts on this subject. In this explained the peculiarities of different types of manuscripts. Here, in detail, the historical aspects of writing and manuscripts, and presented a panoramic view of scope of manuscriptology. Editing of manuscripts, and also on eligibility of editor, salient features of various styles of writing, scribal skills and necessary pre-requisites for editing. Museums studies, simply defined, is a field that encompasses the ideas and issues involved in the museum profession- from the practical day-to day skill needed to operate a museum to theories on its societal role. It involves learning the ethics surrounding museum collections and the role of museums in edifying, elucidating, enlightening the thereby specializing in art, history and culture.

Museology sheds more light on the subject, “It is a profession where history is revealed not through history books, but first hand, through solid artifacts of history lined across museum walls. It is designed to acquaint students with how and why collecting is done along with the history of collection. I wasn’t sure of the scope of this career in India. But as I found out more, I realised that the field indeed has immense potential. As a career, museology is now in competition with history, art history and archaeology. This proves the progress or Museology over the years. An inherent appreciation for the arts and cultures is essential to carve a rewarding career in museum studies. Archivists and conservationists require a keen eye for detail and an inquisitive mindset to deliver the best job result. Those in art, art history, history and education, and other similar subjects are very likely to find the museum field rewarding. Also, with research being an important aspect of museology, librarians, historians, and archivists looking for new careers will also find the field challenging.
