About The Book

In Ayurveda, Prameha is considered as one of the 'Ashta Mahagada' which originates due to deranged metabolism. Even though Prameha is a TridoshaVyadhi (a disease involving all three of the psychophysiologic principles known as Doshas i.e. Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), it is basically a disease with Kapha predominance. With the increasing prevalence of prameha, especially in the middle age group population, who are commonly affected in India. the chances of developing micro and macrovascular complications are very high and is going to bring enormous burden on the family, society and health care providers involved in the management of prameha.
