Yoga today is one of the most popular forms of exercise or meditation and the ideal antidote for the pressures of modern life. It integrates the physical and spiritual aspect of life.
Yoga for all is for the old and young alike - for those who want to be healthy, those who wish to maintain their good health, and those suffering from particular ailments. The asanas (postures) described in the book work on different body parts, toning the muscles, improving blood circulation, reducing obesity, and increasing flexibility and endurance. Move from this to pramayama, kriyas and bandhas - techniques to control breathing, eliminate toxins, and restore hormonal balance.
The book offers a readymade fitness programme in the form of a SEVEN-DAY Schedule. There are curative exercises for asthma, arthritis, cervical spondylitis, diabetes, hypertension and other debilities.
Change your life - beat stress, increase your concentration, enjoy great health and learn to relax with yoga's holistic approach to life, so invitingly approachable in this book.
