In Tibetan Astrological Calendar the cycles of twelve years are represented by twelve animals: mouse, Ox, elephant, hare, dragon, snake, horse, sheep (goat), monkey, bird (cock), dog and pig (boar). It is popularly depicted in Tibetan Thangka Paintings.
