Calligraphic Falcon

Calligraphic Falcon

Persian Calligraphy is one of the most revered arts throughout Persian history and is an example of fine Persian culture. In this painting, the artist shows his perfect handiwork by the amazing masterstrokes over the paper canvas, capturing a lovely grey shaded thin circular stand that is bordered by two golden colored balls and a vertically layered center stand in the middle that is tinted yellow.

A strong falcon grasps this stand with its sharp claws that are enhanced with its long nails. The artist works wonders with his lovely dip pen and quill making out the charcoal black sophisticated yet astoundingly beautiful exotic signs that combine to encapsulate the outlandish Persian language. Defined with diacritics, the perfect calligraphy takes the shape of a hawk depicting voluminous tail feathers and a lovely curved beak. It is emblazoned with the name of 'Muhammad', the last Prophet in Islam, portraying the religious importance off this painting. The amazing letters and words might seem outlandish, yet they are known to the very human soul.

The calligrapher has been successful to portray that every being lives with the name of the Prophet and the God imprinted in him, reminding Muslims of their eternal goal and turning out to be an aesthetic painting that takes away the breath of the spectator with each twitch that this language takes as the calligrapher's qalam moves skillfully, turning out to be the perfect choice of those who love charming arts.

I was very happy to find these great Hindu texts of the ancient times. Been a fan of both Mahabhratham and Ramayanam since I was a small boy. Now the whole family can enjoy these very important cultural texts at home.
