The visual narrations of the episodes are colourfully depicted. Ravana, who had abducted Rama's wife, was the king of Lanka. With the assistance of Hanuman, the monkey god, Rama traces his wife and a battle ensued between him and demon king. In this battle Ravana is killed at the hands of Rama.
The climax is presented magnificently here. The left half shows the fallen Ravana horizontally and the right half shows the two brothers Rama and Lakshmana) vertically. Yet the two are so blended that the divide is not prominent. The numerous heads and arms of the vanquished king seem like a multi-spiked object. The brothers hold their bows with strung arrows, positioned to continue the fight. Two members of the monkey brigade can be seen among the floral creepers that fill every empty space.
