This lord of Dharma is carved in super quality bright gold-yellow brass in his popular Kamalasana i.e. the one sitting here on a realistic double lotus pedestal. Ganesha is the god on our side, our friend and benefactor as he carries his immediate weapons, axe and noose in each of his rear hands and grants a boon of a fearlessness by the Om inscribed right hand.
The attires and jewels worn by this statue enhance its beauteous aspects. As you can see the alluring layers and size of necklaces adorned over him and that comfortable and trendy dhoti along with the mesmerizingly coiled and decorated stole are the most eye-catching fractions of this Vighnaharta.
The flower haloed crowned head carries the Shaivite tilak on forehead with the flappy elephant ears carved in accurate presentation. We all know that this pompous deity is very fond of eating laddoos, therefore the sculptor has also used this fact in his creation by depicting the precisely chiselled trunk going towards the laddoo that he holds in his right anterior hand. Although this sculpture is moulded in a usual posture, but its intricate carvings, flashy color and uncompared divineness allows it to be different from other Ganesha sculptures.
