This bed sheet in unusual combination of mauve, blue and grey is made of a square block so finely repeated that it looks like an over all pattern. Each square block has a diagonal pattern covering the three wolds of the sea, flora, and the animal kingdom. A flat blossom forms the lower half of the pattern, with buds and leaves springing out in all directions from the top. At the base is water and two fishes coming towards the stem base. On the sides and the top of this floral design are sets of three bars. On either side of the upper bars are two caparisoned elephants with their trunks raised in unison. Another floral motif with a number of leaves and flowers forms the uppermost pattern of the square. The field is white with other colour variants and the first of the border band is grey with mauve elephants with blue decorations walking in one direction. An identical band is across the middle band which has flowers and majestic elephants in decorative arches, walking in the opposite direction - a pattern highly influenced by the wall decorations of palatial buildings of the era bygone.
