The dupatta has a broad embroidery of zardozi patterned in floral shapes enhancing the beauty of the entire dress.
The dress should be stitched in a traditional Punjabi style so as to make the work on the neck and front prominent.
Zardozi is the traditional art patronized on the royal garments long ago, with gold and silver embroidery work. Zardozi today is however done in the same pattern but in gold colored embroidery. The various patterns formed on the zardozi are called Dabka, Kora etc. depending on the type of work
