About The DVD

This series of four talks given in Brockwood Park in 1983 serves as an excellent introduction to Krishnamurti’s teaching, especially for those not previously acquainted with it. Krishnamurti’s statements here are simple and direct and cover all the aspects of life that he generally touched upon in his talks and writings –chaos in the world, conflict between human beings and within oneself, the limitation of knowledge and thought, the burden of fear, the universality of sorrow, the mystery of death, the meaning of meditation, and the search for something beyond the measure of man.

Why does not man live in peace on this earth after all these centuries, asks Krishnamurti in this talk. This so-called individuality may be one of the causes why man does not live in peace. Each one is seeking his own security and so must come into conflict with others Deeply, you are the rest of the world, and with that goes tremendous responsibility. In relationship conflict seems all-pervasive, and how do you observe this fact of separateness? The self must be enter into the observation. So is it possible to look at another without the memories of yesterday? Our brain is a network of words, and so it is never free to look. Can you look at life not as a problem though factual problems do exist?
