Sufi Music is a genre of music inspired by Sufism and the works of Sufi poets like Rumi, Hazrat Shah Hussein, Bulleh Shah and Khwaja Ghulam Farid. It is a very vibrant form of music which in its true form attempts to talk to god and the heavens through the song. This collection contains traditional Sufi Music by famous Sufi singers from the Indian subcontinent including Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Wadali Bros, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Abida Parveen. It also contains adaptations of Sufi music by modern day composers like A.R. Rahman & Kailash Kher.
