About The Artist

J. Krishnamurti, recognized the world over as one of the greatest religious teachers of all times, was born in south India in 1895. As a young man, he underwent certain mystical experiences which, as he said, made him touch the ‘compassion that heals all sorrow and suffering’. Then, for more than sixty years, till his passing away in 1986, he travelled all over the world talking to people about the need to change themselves radically by understanding the psychological factors that shape human lives. In doing so, he gave a new direction and meaning to man’s search for Truth or God.
