Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and the master of all the senses. He is all-attractive and everyone becomes joyful upon hearing His pastimes and chanting His holy name. He possesses all the six opulences, all at the same time and to unlimited degrees – fame, beauty, power, wisdom, wealth and renunciation. He is an ocean of mercy and bliss, and anyone who takes His shelter becomes liberated from the clutches of maya and goes back to home (Goloka).
Here, the cowherd boy Krishna stands atop a small pedestal in the beautiful Tribhanga posture (the three-fold bending form), the right leg crossed over the left leg at the ankle.
The transcendental hands of Krishna hold the divine flute to His lips and when He plays it, all the residents and animals of Vrindavan dance in ecstasy and their hearts get filled with love for Him. He is clad in a short-length dhoti with sashes worn around the waist. Note His eyes blooming like lotus petals and a gentle and soft smile on His moonlike face. Decorated with neckpieces and anklets, the performer of wonderful pastimes looks so mesmerizing and pleasing to our eyes. Finally, the crown on His head appears majestic upon His glowing face which is full of happiness and love. His bodily features are like a celebration.
