On a lotus pedestal stands a celestial beauty, having a tall and lissome, curvaceous body, well defined features, holding a lamp in her hands. She wears a crown, large earrings, necklaces and an extensively carved waist-belt. A tightly clad saree adorns her lower body with the middle frill reaching down to the feet. The waist belt helps to accentuate her narrow waist and broad hips.
This is a very refined piece where attention is paid to shapes, polishing and modeling. The proportions of the female figure are well balanced; the octagonal base and the lotus pedestal are nicely shaped. It is done in brass and bronze polish, each used wisely where required.
