This brass sculpture depicts an L-shaped platform with individual pedestals. Lord Rama stands in the center. He's flanked by his wife, Lady Sita on the left and his younger brother Lakshmana on the right. Lord Hanuman, sits at the feet of his god. Lord Rama and a resplendent Lady Sita have their right hand raised in a blessing posture. Both Lord Rama and Lakshmana are depicted in their kingly attires complete with their royal crowns and legendary bows and a quiver of arrows. Lord Hanuman is also depicted with his weapon, the mace, at his feet.
The sculpture has a nice open frame that goes in curves around the standing shapes of Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita. This is a depiction of the scene when Rama along with his retinue has returned to Ayodhya after defeating the Rakshasa king Ravana. The haloes behind the crowns of each of the figures is a testament to their divine nature.
