Shiva is the great god of destruction and creation. This auspicious Mahadeva is one of the principle deities of Hinduism and a destructor in Trimurti. The copper colored mask has clearly sculpted expressions and trinetra represents the physical world while the third eye signifies to look beyond the obvious- eye for knowledge. His loose stylish matted hair representing the wind has a visible crescent moon as the cosmic time. The two snakes, one wrapped around his hair and the other around his neck portrays him as the conqueror of death.
