This south cotton sari comes in a double shade of green and brown that is highlighted in the presence of light. On the body are small floral butis that give fullness to the sari. The border of the sari is ornately woven with temple patterns in biscuit, green and orange colored threads.
The pallav is very rich and is the real attraction of the sari. It consists of small woven checks with butis inside, that look close and good. In the middle of the pallav are carved arches of the temple variety with ornately woven flowers and branches. Also are carved leaves on the either ends of the pallav.
This sari is a visual treat. It is accompanied by a matching woven blouse with checks and border as on the sari.
