The body of the sari is in plain and rich olive green color with the luster of pure silk. The border and the Pallav are exquisite with brocade kind of weave in gold and white color threads. The border is on both sides with motifs that are inspired from the relief work of the North Indian architecture especially from the Mughal times. The motifs consist of ornate carvings of the doors and windows commonly found on the architecture of the area.
The Pallav is grand and goes with the spirit of the sari, with similar relief motifs though in large patterns. The Pallav enhances the beauty of the sari and makes it a good evening and formal wear. The sari is accompanied by a blouse that has small floral butis on an olive green background.
