Glimpses of Kerala Culture
Glimpses of Kerala Culture
Description
Back of the Book

“The book is usefully organized in three sections the first discussing the Dravidian of Non- Vedic Stream, and the third the synthesis of the two. The result is a delightful, instructive and yet highly readable volume which will afford hours of pleasure and education to anyone seeking an in-depth appreciation of Kerala culture. I commend it unreservedly to the discerning reader.”

About the Book

Glimpses of Kerala Culture offers an impressive and highly readable introduction to the carious art forms of the rich and ancient culture of Kerala.

The book gives profound and erudite insights into the four defined purposes of Hindu life, the origins and nature of dance forms of Kerala and its unique martial arts.

The book is divided into three parts, dealing with the Dravidian or the Non-Vedic Stream of civilization, the Vedic or the Aryan Stream, and the colours of the ‘United Stream’.

Glimpses of Kerala Culture provides a wealth of information while delineating various art forms and reflecting on a host of cultural aspects. The colorus of Kerala come alive in the vibrant mosaic of Indian heritage. The reader is amply rewarded and establishes an easy communion with Kerala.

Testimonials

Very easy to buy, great site! Thanks
Ilda, Brazil
Our Nandi sculpture arrived today and it surpasses all expectations - it is wonderful. We are not only pleasantly surprised by the speed of international delivery but also are extremely grateful for the care of your packaging. Our sculpture needed to travel to an off-lying island of New Zealand but it arrived safely because of how well it had been packaged. Based upon my experience of all aspects of your service, I have no hesitation in recommending Exotic India.
