Seeds of Wisdom: 120 Letters
Seeds of Wisdom: 120 Letters
by Osho
Description
From the Jacket

“Peace is our nature. Even in the midst of deep restlessness, there is a center where we are at peace. There is a person within us who is calmly asleep I the midst of all our storms. In this peaceful, still, unworried spot is our real existence.

The miracle is that, despite its existence, we become restless. There is no miracle in returning there.”

Osho’s inspiring books cover everything from the wisdom of the world’s mystics to answers to intensely personal questions about meditation and the inner search.

His unique perspective encompasses the timeless wisdom of the East and the highest potential of Western science and technology, and he was named by The Sunday Times of London as one of the “1000 Makers of the 20th Century.”

His insights address both the timeless and timely concerns that tend to escape our notice in the clamor and overload of daily life.

Preface

I too am a farmer. I had sown some seeds and they have sprouted and now they have flowered. My whole life is filled with the fragrance of these flowers, and because of this fragrance, I am now in a different world. This fragrance has given me a new birth and now I am no longer that which can be seen by ordinary eyes.

The unseen and the unknown have flung open their closed doors, and I am seeing a world which is not seen through the eyes, and I am hearing a music which ears are not capable of hearing. What I have found and known is wanting to flow, just as the mountain waterfalls and springs flow and rush towards the ocean.

Remember, when the clouds are full of water they have to shower. And when the flowers are filled with fragrance they have to give off their fragrance freely to the winds. And when a lamp is lit, the light their fragrance freely to the winds. And when a lamp is lit, the light is bound to radiate from it.

Something like this has happened in me, and the winds are carrying away from me the seeds of inner revolution. I have no idea in what fields they will land and who will tend them. I only known that it is from seeds like these that I have attained the flowers of life, of immortality, of the divine. And in whatever field they land, and very soil there will become the flowers of immortality.

In death is hidden the immortal and in death is life, even as flowers are hidden in the soil. But the potential of the soil can never become realized in the absence of seeds. The seeds make manifest that which was unmanifest and give expression to that which was latent.

Whatever I have, whatever I am, I want to give away as seeds of wisdom, of divine consciousness. What is attained through knowing, love gives away in abundance. In knowledge one knows of God; in love one becomes God. Knowing is the spiritual discipline, love is the fulfillment.

Back of the Book

“Infinite patience is essential. I see the gardener sowing seeds. He then puts manure in the soil, waters it and waits for the flowers to blossom. Flowers cannot be compelled to bloom. They need patience-love and patience.”

Seeds of Wisdom is a collection of 120 personal letters written by Osho. These letters have a rare and beautiful quality as Osho recalls incidents from his own life, tells stories and parables and reflects on the nature of truth and the journey of a seeker.

Testimonials

Hello Vipin K., thanks a lot for replacing the 4th volume of the Srimad Bhagavatam and sending me a faultless copy of the book so fast. The faulty pagination (missing and mixed up pages) is due to the bookbinding, of course, you are not to blame. Your customer service is excellent. And as your selection of books is extraordinary, I'm already looking forward to the next books that will reach me, perfectly packed and in best condition as always. ;-)

Your custom service is great, especially Vipin. Vipin helped me locate a lost package. that was so nice!!!! I love this company. I love the cotton skirts with ruffle on the bottom. I also love how that when we place items in the shopping cart, the computer system allows them to remain in the cart until we are ready to purchase them. They don't disappear like with other on-line stores shopping cart system. Your the Best!!!

A true treasure vault of Bharatiya samskruti knowledge books! Thanks for this service.

Very nice website, easy to use. Your one of the few Indian website that have an extensive collection of CD's that will ship to America.I think Indian website should expand themselves into the global community China sure has. China's market growth had to do with supply and demand. The same thing could happen to India, you just have to open the doors of India and let it happen. At least you seem to be doing that.
