Vrana and its Healing
Vrana and its Healing
Description
Preface

The Art of surgery revolves around the wound or Vrana. Therefore, Sushrut has dealt with this ailment as the foundation of almost all surgical pathology in his Samhita.

Dr. Raakhee Mehra at an early age has put in considerable labour in a well-planned manner and reviewed the complete literature on the subject in this book. Her literal abstraction chapter is a ready-reckoner of basic information of Vrana and its healing. At the same time, this book is a milestone in the understanding of actiopathogenesis. Vrana, as well as the mode of action of the ayurvedic healer drug as per scientific ayurvedic and modern medical sciences in worth mentioning.

I am confident that her efforts regarding establishing models for clinical trail and experimental study will certainly provide an informative guideline for all research students devoted to the advancement of ayurvedic knowledge for Vrana healing.
