U.Shrinivas was a child prodigy who has matured into one of the finest exponents of Carnatic music. He gave his first public concert when he was nine, after which he performed extensively everywhere in India and abroad. Music is his passion and creating something new has been his forte. In this concert recording, U. Shrinivas and U. Rajesh have added colour to all the traditional krithis with live orchestration, an ensmeble of 4 violins, cello, tabla, mridangam, ghatam and keyboards.
This VCD features the golden moments from the memorable concert of U. Shrinivas & u. Rajesh at India Gate in 2002. It begins with an enchanting rendition of srimahaganapathira, in raga Gowla followed by Krithis in raga Kokilavarali, Bindumalini and shree Ragam.
